I am a golden ager/senior member of society with a lot of enthusiasm to help people who are not as fortunate as me. I have lived and worked in Kingston for 40 years and have three lovely children and four gorgeous grandchildren. I worked as a social worker for many years and retired from the very stressful but rewarding job a few months ago. Besides my family my biggest passion is voluntary work. I have been a member of Milaap for 25 years and for at least 75% of that time I have been a Committee member either as Secretary, Vice-Chair or Chair. Milaap like a lot of other voluntary organisations is going through some difficult times and I am trying very hard in working towards eliminating the fears and concerns of our vulnerable members, improving their quality of life and making their future brighter.
